Do you want some fresh new ideas for hands-on engagement in the classroom? Hands-on, minds-on activities are proven as an effective way to capture the attention, and engage youth in every aspect of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). STEM is an effective platform to build critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills. This workshop is focused on providing a variety of activity ideas with easily accessible materials for teachers from Grade 6 to 10 that can be adapted for a range of grade levels and abilities and across disciplines. Let’s Talk Science facilitators will lead you through multiple science-based experiences that involve technology and creativity.
